Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what an order needs: your name, email, phone number and delivery address. If you write to us, we keep your message so we can answer it.

Payment information

We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed entirely by Razorpay on their PCI-DSS compliant systems. We receive only a payment reference and a success or failure result.

How we use it

• To pack, ship and support your order.
• To reply to enquiries you send us.
• To meet accounting and tax obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing email unless you asked for it.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to remember your cart, and two first-party cookies that let us count a visit as one visit rather than a dozen. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set by this site, and nothing we set is readable by anyone else.

Visit statistics

So that we can see which puzzles people are interested in, we record the pages opened on this site along with the IP address they were opened from, the approximate city and country that address belongs to, and the browser and device used. This is kept on our own server. We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising tracker.

To turn an IP address into a city we send it once to the lookup service ip-api.com, and cache the answer so it is not sent again. Nothing else about you is shared with them.

These records are deleted automatically after 12 months. We do not use them to identify you personally, and they are never sold or shared for marketing.

Your rights

Write to amar@villagersproduct.com to ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted where we are not legally required to keep it.
