2006 — Mathematics
A different way to find a root
As a student at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Meerut, mathematics fascinated me.
I worked with my teammate on a novel technique for calculating roots of numbers — work that took us to the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2006 in the United States, representing India.
The project received national recognition, and my mathematical research later included work on finding the 3rd, 4th, 5th … nth root of a number. That journey brought several recognitions, including the Bal Vagyanic Award from the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
But the award was not the most important outcome. It created a habit that has stayed with me ever since:
When everybody accepts the existing way of solving a problem, I naturally ask — can there be another way?

Around 2013 — An idea before its market
Thirty minutes, thirteen years early
Years later, I was thinking about something completely different — an idea around Villagers Product:
What if everyday products could reach customers within 30 minutes or less?
Today that sentence sounds ordinary. Thirteen years ago, it didn’t. There was no massive Indian quick-commerce ecosystem around us, and I couldn’t build the idea at the scale it required.
Then the market changed. Consumer behaviour changed. Technology changed. Capital arrived. And today, 10–30 minute commerce is an established industry.
I don’t claim that I invented quick commerce. What matters to me is something different: I had identified the direction of a consumer need years before it became obvious.
Being right about the future isn’t enough. Timing and execution matter just as much.

Then — Deep into telephony
Where reliability is measured in milliseconds
My professional career took me into a field where reliability matters at the millisecond level: telecommunications. Over the years, I have worked across:

Eventually, another technological shift became obvious to me: AI was becoming intelligent enough to talk — but it still needed a reliable bridge to the world’s telephone networks.
That is one of the problems we are solving through CallAnywhere, connecting traditional telephony infrastructure directly with modern AI:
Telephone Network → SIP/RTP → AI → Human → AI
— while keeping the underlying call, media, transfers and telecom infrastructure under reliable control. My work today sits at the intersection of Telecom + Voice AI + Real-Time Communication Infrastructure.

Next — PuzzleHouse
The puzzle is the beginning, not the destination
For the last two to three years, while continuing my work in telecom and AI, I have quietly been researching and experimenting with several unconventional ideas. One of those experiments has now become PuzzleHouse.
And I believe I’m seeing another shift. A problem is being created today by changes in technology, lifestyle and human behaviour.
Right now, many people may not consider it a major problem. I believe they will. Five years from now, the conversation could be very different. Ten years from now, something considered optional today may become increasingly necessary.
I’m deliberately not disclosing the complete business thesis publicly yet — because PuzzleHouse isn’t simply about selling puzzles.
The puzzle is the beginning — not the destination.
